Leadership Group Committee About us: We are Beavers, Wolf Cubs and Scouts who live in central Ottawa, and meet Tuesdays at the Sandy Hill Community Centre, 250 Somerset St. East. We are in the Heritage District of the Voyageur Region of Ontario. We may be based in the centre city, but we go on outings outside of the city as often as we can. Our Scouts go camping monthly, and our Cubs camp four times a year, and have hikes, visits, or activity days in the months when they dont camp. Our Beavers enjoy lots of outings too. Our Venturers have gone on long hiking and canoeing trips and have fun working with the Cub and Beaver sections. We use the outdoors as our place to have fun, to teach, to learn, and to grow. For more on our philosophy (Scouts Canadas philosophy), click here ( ). We are proud of our diverse neighbourhood and city, and welcome children and adults of all races, languages, religions, and backgrounds. Many of our leadership team are bilingual. We want to serve all of our neighbourhood; no child is turned away because they cannot afford to join us!
